Getting Squeezed Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message on “Getting Squeezed,” remembering real love is not forceful, we can trust the flow, and we can create spacious love and true caring.
Getting Squeezed – Today’s message is “Getting Squeezed.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our April talks on Caring. She speaks of remembering real love is not forceful, trusting, and creating spacious love and true caring without squeezing or being squeezed. She reminds us that self-care is important and we do not have to qualify for love. She also provides a number of spiritual practices for avoiding Getting Squeezed both in our interactions with others and with ourselves.
Katherine Economou stated: “Love is not something we need to qualify for. It is not given based on performance but on presence.”
And Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, taught: “Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?”
Enjoy the music of Gary Lynn Floyd and our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Getting Squeezed– Reading Listen as Nancy Wertz reads the April 6th excerpt from Wholehearted Living – An Enchanted Journey for Your Soul – 365 Days of Inspiration by Christian Sørensen and Katherine Economou entitled Sometimes We All Get Squeezed!. The reading tells us:
“When we are reactive and what comes out is not what we want, it is an indication that something is off balance within us. It is a call for some reflection and self-care. When we make self-care a priority and release guilt about taking time to care for our own well-being, we are more centered, calm and loving.”
Getting Squeezed– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our month of April talks on Caring with a message on “Getting Squeezed.” She invites you on a journey that embraces real love is not forceful. She reminds us to trust everything is indeed in Divine order, and God is truly in charge. So, we can remember to make self-care a priority, to grow through life rather than struggle, and to create space for love, the true language of caring.
Ernest Holmes said: “The universe is not something to get through, but something to grow through.”
Emma Curtis Hopkins reminds us: “Your word is the wand that shapes your world.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to stop squeezing or being squeezed and live our lives from a place of seeing clearly, making lemonade out of lemons, and trusting the flow of life, creating spacious caring.
