Living Untethered – Part I: Conscious Awareness – This week our service is the beginning of an 8-week series on the book by Michael A. Singer: “Living Untethered – Beyond the Human Predicament,” with each week independent. Today’s message is on “Living Untethered – Part I: Conscious Awareness.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, reminds you to be aware of your inner dialogue, to accept what is, to become a conscious receiver, and to return to the seat of your Self. She also talks about the three-ring circus representing the dynamics of the mind and the constant activity of ring 1, thoughts, ring 2, emotions, and ring 3, physical sensations. This circus can become overwhelming and feel tumultuous at times, so take some advice from Singer:
“To be able to fully embrace life, wise ones throughout the ages have taught the importance of accepting reality. Only by accepting reality can we work with the flow of life as it passes by, and create a better world.”
