Search for Meaning – An Introduction
Join us this week for Search for Meaning. Learn to truly live life from a place of knowing you have found your home, your true purpose and meaning in life.
Search for Meaning This week our service focuses on Search for Meaning – how we decide what our existence might be, tune in to our homing device, and allow love and Spirit to bring us home. Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, Rev. Catherine Bonin, the Happiness Minister, and Rev. Larry King, a minister from Oregon, begin a new series: “Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness according to the Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse.” The Series is based on a book by Charlie Mackesy, and each week is independent. These three ministers provide a message which encourages you to follow the river of consciousness to the light where home and love reside.
Chris Michaels, in Your Soul’s Assignment, wrote:
“We’ve been created, and then left alone to discover our Creator. In time, we all find our way home because the Creator placed a “homing device” within each of us. Our intense desire for love is that homing device and it will always lead us directly back to the one and only Source of unconditional love.”
Enjoy the music of Karen Drucker and of our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Larrye encourages you to focus on inner strength, supportive strength, and having the courage to face your fears, be yourself and take risks. She also reminds us our true strength and courage comes from partnering with the Divine.
In “365 Science of Mind” Erenest Holmes wrote:
”If we would transcend doubt and fear we must lift up our thought unto the spiritual hills of the inner life. … I turn resolutely to that divine Source that knows no confusion, to that spiritual Center within me that knows no fear.”
Enjoy the music of Karen Drucker and of our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Strength and Courage– Reading Listen as Angela Davis reads the September 7th entry from 365 Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes entitled I Receive Divine Strength into My Being. It reminds us, like Jesus, to “go up to the mount if we would rise above the little things that bother us. We must identify ourselves with the greatness of the Spirit if we would breathe in Its mighty power.”
Strength and Courage- Message Only Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues the series: “Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness according to the Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse,” based on a book by Charlie Mackesy. Each week is independent and this week the message is on “Strength and Courage.” Rev. Larrye-Marie encourages you to remember the advise of the horse:
“When the big things feel out of control … focus on what you love right under your nose.” She reminds you to have the courage to be yourself and know that inner strength is an innate quality of your being. Ralph Waldo Emerson believed that true courage came from daring to be different, from breaking free of societal expectations and embracing one’s unique path. He said:
“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
Imagine what your life and the world might look like if we each had more backbone to be ourselves in all situations and to focus on what we love right under our noses!

Catherine reminds us that we are on a hero’s journey and we find our home in our own unique way.
As Chris Michael states in “Your Soul’s Assignment”:
In time, we all find our way home because the Creator placed a “homing device” within each of us. Our intense desire for love is that homing device and it will always lead us directly back to the one and only Source of unconditional love.
Imagine what life and the world might look like if we all paid attention to our homing device and lived in our true home, that place of unconditional love!
