Temple of God Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message on Temple of God, remembering your body houses something holy, sacred real estate, and you can choose to see it from a viewpoint of wholeness and health!
Temple of God – Today’s message is “Temple of God.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our June talks on Wholeness and Health. She speaks of remembering your body is sacred real estate, of knowing your body is a vehicle for awakening, and of treating your body as a Temple of God. She encourages us to use new spiritual practices to center ourselves and notice when we are, as well as when we are not, using our bodies as temples. She reminds us to heed the words of Katherine Economou who said: “You are not broken. You are building. Every choice you make is another brick in your sacred home.”
She also speaks of these words of Buddha:
“Your body is precious. It is your vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care.”
Enjoy the music of our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

Temple of God– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and begins our month of June talks on Wholeness and Health with a message on “Temple of God.” She invites you on a journey to remember your body houses something holy, sacred real estate, and requests you look at your body from a viewpoint of wholeness and health. She reminds you of the Divine presence in you and provides a number of spiritual practices you can adopt to learn to treat your body as a temple of God. She quotes the words of Lao Tzu who said:
“He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to be temples of God and laid upon our altar of the infinite all that is good, speaking kindly to ourselves, nourishing our bodies with love, releasing what no longer serves us, and resting in the peace of Spirit so as to uplift those around us.
