Oh So Grateful
Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message: Oh So Grateful.
Remember to notice your many blessings and live in gratitude for all that you have.
Oh So Grateful – Today’s message is “Oh So Grateful.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and concludes our November talks on Gratitude.
Gratitude is a spiritual technology—it softens the heart, lifts the mind, and reminds us that even in the most ordinary moments, we are surrounded by blessings. Today rather than beginning with a single voice, the service contains many voices, because gratitude is universal, crossing age, culture, circumstance, and belief. It is the thread that connects us. Several people have taken a moment to share why they are grateful—sometimes for the big things, often for the small things, always for the things that shape their lives in meaningful ways. Rev. Larrye invites us to graciously give thanks for all we have, to open to all the good available to us, and to recognize our abundance in every moment. She provides a number of quotes to explain gratitude and reminds us of these words of Ernest Holmes: “Gratitude is not a mental act; it is a deep spiritual realization.”
