Search for Meaning – An Introduction
Learn to truly live life from a place of knowing you have found your home, your true purpose and meaning in life.
Search for Meaning Full Sunday Service This week our service focuses on Search for Meaning – how we decide what our existence might be, tune in to our homing device, and allow love and Spirit to bring us home. Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, Rev. Catherine Bonin, the Happiness Minister, and Rev. Dr. Larry King, a minister from Oregon, begin a new series: “Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness according to the Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse.” The Series is based on a book by Charlie Mackesy, and each week is independent. These three ministers provide a message which encourages you to follow the river of consciousness to the light where home and love reside.
Chris Michaels, in Your Soul’s Assignment, wrote:
“We’ve been created, and then left alone to discover our Creator. In time, we all find our way home because the Creator placed a “homing device” within each of us. Our intense desire for love is that homing device and it will always lead us directly back to the one and only Source of unconditional love.”
Enjoy the music of Karen Drucker and of our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.
Search for Meaning “No Frills” Service – The service starts at the opening welcome, no announcements, with a message which focuses on Search for Meaning. Learn to truly live life from a place of knowing you have found your home, your true purpose and meaning in life.
Search for Meaning- Meditation – “I Send My Love” as you settle into a place of knowing that you don’t simply exist, you choose what to become in every moment. You are invited to send your love out and know that in this moment, you are the love that God created you to be.
Search for Meaning– Reading – Listen as Nancy Wertz reads an excerpt from “Man’s Search For Meaning” by Victor E. Frankl. This passage reminds us that nearly everyone is searching for “something” and that most of us have something for which we are willing to die.
Search for Meaning- Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, Rev. Catherine Bonin, the Happiness Minister, and Rev. Larry King, a minister in Oregon, begin a new series: “Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Happiness according to the Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse.”
The Series is based on a book by Charlie Mackesy, and each week is independent. These three ministers provide a message on the “Search for Meaning,” encouraging you to follow the river of consciousness to the light where home and love reside.
Victor E. Frankl in “Man’s Search for Meaning” wrote:
“Life is not primarily a quest for pleasure, as Freud believed, or a quest for power, as Alfred Adler taught, but a quest for meaning. The greatest task for any person is to find meaning in his or her life.”
Imagine what your life and the world might look like if we each found our true purpose in life and were able to live from that place. What Joy there would be on this planet!
